Dear friends,
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic we have adjusted our work and will be reducing our operations from October 2020 until February 2021 when we will revisit the situation. Our programmes Strategic Volunteering and Mentoring for Professionals will be put on hold. This year we will only run our Christmas Shoebox Project, part of the Corporate Volunteering programme. Within the next five months our focus in Supporting Local Initiatives will be primarily on providing advice and answering questions via email with regards to volunteer opportunities in and around Luzern. In addition, each member of our team will volunteer at a local organisation to continue supporting the community and to also gain a better understanding of how volunteering works in Central Switzerland. This experience is sure to enrich our team’s understanding of the challenges inherent in volunteering and will help us to better advise you.
