Evelin Bermudez | President

Evelin Bermudez is a founding member and manages SIVO. She has twenty-five years’ experience and training in project design and management, including monitoring and evaluation methodologies in micro- finance, education, cultural resources management, social development and youth development projects. She made a career in international development working at the World Bank and various United Nations Agencies before relocating to Switzerland in 2003. She is the co-founder of the Swiss Skills Academy, a social enterprise providing skills upgrading courses. Since 2012, she has been a member of the City of Lucerne’s Integration Commission, providing advice on integration policy issues. She is passionate about integration, gender diversity in the work place and creating opportunities for women to return to work.

Ananya Alexander | Project Manager Corporate Volunteering

With degrees in Economics and International Management, Ananya has experience across industries ranging from working with a public policy think tank to upliftment programmes for the socially disadvantaged to facilitating interactions between policymakers and stakeholders in the environmental sector. She has been instrumental in setting up projects novel to every organisation she has been part of. She most recently worked as a Project Manager for various international militaries stationed in Kuwait and monitored projects translating strategies into fruition, streamlining processes, and managing stakeholders. Ananya has always been actively involved in social upliftment programmes in India and most recently in Baden, Switzerland, where she was part of the Gastro Team at the local community kitchen. She enjoys cooking, discovering new cultures and exploring Switzerland.

MEGHA GOEL | Project Manager Asylum Seekers

Megha is a learning & development specialist with 6+ years of industry experience in large multinationals. She completed her Master in Business Administration in India before moving to Switzerland in 2018. She had been instrumental in leading large scale development programs apart from handling process aspects of people development in corporate environment. Impacting lives in our society had always been her priority and it resonates with her choice of specialization in professional domain. She is passionate for gender equality, loves to meet new people, explore new cultures and more of Switzerland.

EVGENIIA MARSHALL | Project Manager Strategic Volunteering

Evgeniia Marshall is a Russian national living in Switzerland since 2013. In Russia she gained experience in software usability testing, information systems quality assurance and project management. Since moving to Switzerland, she learned English and German and received a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration. Working with students from various countries, she developed competence in intercultural communication.  Wanting to make a difference and give back to the local society, she joined SIVO’s team. Evgeniia loves to work in multicultural teams collaborating and achieving common goals with the aim to create a positive impact. She is passionate about art and music and has a strong interest in impact investing.

Sabrina Chies | Supporting Local Initiatives Project Manager

Originally from Buenos Aires, Sabrina divides her life  between Switzerland and Argentina since 2018. She started her career in filmmaking and has explored different artistic disciplines over the years. With also a deep interest in politics and sociology she joined SIVO to expand her field of knowledge on social dynamics,  international organizations, and to contribute with the local community. She is open to embrace new scenarios using her social skills to integrate herself and others into evolving environments. Always enthusiastic about meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and providing support to the working team through her artistic vision.

Yolanda Tang | Project Manager Mentoring Programme for Professionals

The majority of Yolanda’s professional work life has spanned over a decade in the relocation and international mobility industry, employed by some of the leading global relocation providers. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, she has personally experienced international mobility herself having lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Switzerland. Yolanda is very excited with her new role with SIVO which comes at a very opportune time for her personally igniting a positive feel good factor knowing she will be able ‘to give back’ and ‘make a difference’.  It will also provide an opportunity to develop new skills and build on existing experiences and knowledge. On a personal note, Yolanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, leisurely hikes in the Swiss mountains and keeping fit.

Ghenwa Kandil | Impact & Reporting Manager

Ghenwa is a dedicated professional who gained exceptional skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting. She has a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Management and before moving to Switzerland in August 2019, Ghenwa worked at a multinational oil and gas company where she had the opportunity to be exposed to a global environment. During her previous role, Ghenwa was responsible to work on reporting tools to help business executives in their decision making. She is a culturally empathetic individual, who likes to interact and work with people of different cultures and nationalities. In addition to her own small-business, Ghenwa has a strong passion for helping others through charity work. Ghenwa is proud to assist SiVO in changing the lives of many international residents living in Lucerne.
